Norfolk Breastfeeding Support is available for all types of infant feeding, including Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding, Formula Feeding & Mixed Feeding.

We aim to leave you and your baby calm and in control and with the necessary skills to breastfeed in the way that you wish.

All consultations are inclusive of any necessary assessments or referrals (eg. Tongue-tie) .

Postnatal Home visits are available for Norfolk Breastfeeding Support & for all types of infant feeding in and around Norfolk, Norwich, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire & Lincolnshire,.
Home visits allow for relaxed time to discuss, assess and support you in the comfort of your own home.
A home visit lasts around 90-120 minutes & includes any necessary assessments & referrals.

My baby won't latch, can you help?

We support many parents to initiate Breastfeeding when they have had a difficult start. A non-latching baby does not have to mean the end to your Breastfeeding. We can support you to protect your milk supply whilst we work with you to discover the root cause of latching difficulties. We can also support parents who are finding latching generally difficult and babies who come on and off the breast throughout a feed.

Do you treat Tongue-ties?

All our specialist Breastfeeding support practitioners are qualified to assess your child’s oral anatomy and identify a tongue-tie. We are able to refer your baby to your local NHS or private service for tongue-tie assessment/division if necessary. Private Tongue-tie Services are bookable with Flo Crawley via No Milk Like Mama’s & Tongue-tie Service clients are offered our client rate for ongoing infant feeding support.

My nipples are sore, will this improve?

Painful Breastfeeding should never be considered ‘normal’. If you have pain on latching and feeding your baby and/or any nipple pain/trauma, we can support you to enjoy comfortable, pain-free Breastfeeding.

How do I book a consultation?

Our support services are bookable online. Our booking system allows you to give us your details & a full history in advance, ensuring your consultation time with your Practitioner is as valuable as possible. You can book to see a particular Practitioner, or choose to see the soonest available.

How quickly can I be seen?

Antenatal Support

There is often a lot of focus on pregnancy and birth, with little time to think about what will happen once your baby arrives.

Private Antenatal Online Video Consultation is available with our Breastfeeding Specialists to discuss Breastfeeding during the antenatal period.

Antenatal video support sessions last approximately 60 minutes

Postnatal Support

Home Visits available in Norwich, Norfolk & Suffolk allow for relaxed time to discuss, assess and support you with Breastfeeding in the comfort of your own home.

Home visits last approximately 90-120 minutes & include any necessary assessments & referrals.

Online Consultations available worldwide are suitable for breastfeeding support where face to face breastfeeding support is not possible, and for all discussion based support. Our clients have found online support a great way to access specialist support quickly & easily with very positive outcomes.

Video Call Consultations last up to 1 hour

Ongoing follow up support packages available for existing clients.

An IBCLC Lactation Consultant is the highest international qualification and gold standard in Breastfeeding Support and it takes many years of training and experience to qualify to this level. IBCLCs have regular training and supervision to continuously update their knowledge and skills and this is also a requirement of registration as an IBCLC. When you employ an IBCLC Lactation Consultant you can be assured that you are receiving the highest standard of Breastfeeding Support.
