Trained by the prestigious Sally Parkes Yoga , a qualification that requires high prerequisites to train, Luisa offers yoga classes unlike anything else in the area.

Pregnancy Yoga

Using yoga training alongside her many years of caring for pregnant women as a midwife, Luisa is able to support and empower you, honouring your mind and body during this special and sacred time.

Pregnancy yoga includes: 

  • Yoga movements for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters to stretch and strengthen the physical body and help alleviate common conditions of pregnancy.

  • Relaxation, pranayama, visualisations and meditation.

  • Simple breath work and deep relaxation to help rejuvenate you mentally, physically and emotionally.

Postnatal Yoga

Luisa’s bespoke postnatal Mums-Only Chill Out yoga classes are designed to give your mind and body time and space to recover, recuperate and relax. These classes are open to all mothers – once you’ve had a child you are forever postnatal, whatever age you are! 

Postnatal yoga includes:

  • Yoga for the postnatal period to stretch and strengthen the physical body and help alleviate common conditions of a postnatal woman including postural changes such as upper and low crossed syndrome.

  • Simple breath work and deep relaxation to help heal you mentally, physically and emotionally.

This 75 minute class will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Come and enjoy 75 minutes of chillout yoga. The poses, Mudras (hand gestures) and pranayama (breath work) are designed to help you feel calmer, and more grounded. We aim to ease out aches and tension, physical and mental. We strengthen the pelvic floor and I aim to give your mind an hour to be calm and relax. Suitable from 6-10 weeks after birth depending on type of birth – please get in touch for more information.

We believe in supporting women, encouraging them to be brave, celebrating their general awesomeness whilst understanding the challenges of modern-day living (and early motherhood).
 
Supporting women to let go of the guilt. Exploring where these feelings even come from, and re-engaging with their authentic selves (or just giving them the space to nap, drink hot tea and eat cake without having to share or be responsible for anything or anyone).
